Klöckner Pentaplast announces launch of new state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for European market

The Klöckner Pentaplast Group announced today the launch of its new center of excellence for PVC and PET shrink-label, adhesive tape, card, and decorative-surfaces films at its Burgkirchen/Gendorf, Germany, site. The center of excellence is part of Klöckner Pentaplast’s €40 Mio ($54 Mio) investment in new state-of-the art manufacturing equipment and technology in Europe to optimize capacity and streamline production processes.The new equipment encompasses a PET extrusion line, a lamination & embossing line, a coating line, and expanded production capabilities for adhesive tape, as well as a digital printer for decorative-surfaces films. In addition, the investment includes the installation of a new design center and showroom to specifically address the needs of kp’s furniture industry customers.With the new equipment, Klöckner Pentaplast is utilizing the industry’s most advanced manufacturing equipment and technology to support the ever-growing demands of the shrink-label, adhesive tape, card, and decorative-surfaces market segments.
