The wide product range of pigment preparations for plastics includes master batches, pigment mixtures, liquid dyes, and coloring pastes and offers tailored solutions for almost every type of plastic, ranging from thermoplastics and duroplastics for various applications, PET, PVC, polyurethane and epoxy resins to unsaturated polyester resins. During the color selection process, Finke’s colorists work in close co-operation with plastics processors.

Each year, they develop more than 8,000 new color shades in accordance with customer specification. “We place great emphasis on the comprehensive support of our customers. Our experienced technicians and colorists advise the users from the design stage to the end product,” says managing director Felix Finke explaining the success of his concept.

At Finke innovation is seen as not just being the continuous development of the product range. Continuous investments in its own laboratory and analytics department are just as important. For optimum results, Finke works with the original material of the customer and simulates individual production conditions in its own laboratory, because the right dye or pigment composition depends not only on the polymer and envisaged application but also to a large extend on the type of processing. Finke‘s technicians can simulate the exact production conditions of numerous processing methods, ranging from various injection moulding and extrusion methods to blow moulding, on state-of-the-art equipment.

Providing innovative color solutions Karl Finke GmbH supports users from design stage to final product.
