Additives for PET processingIn response to customer and market demands a number of new additive masterbatches for use in PET have been developed to benefit the plastics processor,. MAXITHEN® PET 794140 C115 UVCR – an UV absorber masterbatch for PET packaging, used to protect the contents from damaging UV influences. MAXITHEN® UNS 76200 FR -  a flame retardant masterbatch with high thermal stability. This masterbatch can also be applied in polymers such as ABS, PA6, PA6.6 and PBT to achieve flammability classification UL94 V1, V2 and V0, depending on the polymer type and design. MAXITHEN® PET 794980 GL – a lubricant masterbatch for PET processing. MAXITHEN® PET 794490 ABCR – an antiblock masterbatch for PET films. MAXITHEN® PET 7A3970 ABGL – an antiblock/lubricant masterbatch also for PET films. MAXITHEN® PET 793780 NUCR – an inorganic nucleating masterbatch for PET applications. MAXITHEN® PET 795000 - a reactive additive solution which improves the quality of recycled material for recycling applications. It achieves a general improvement in the processing properties and mechanical properties of PET through a reactive, multifunctional influence on the molecular structure.Further customised special products and PET-Additives such as NIR (Near Infrared) Absorber, Optical Brightener for the optical clarification, Blue Toner for the colour improvement and Laser Marking Additives on request.     MAXITHEN® BIOL Standard RangeGabriel-Chemie’s new MAXITHEN® BIOL range includes colour- and additive masterbatches based on Polylactide (PLA), a bio degradable, thermoplastic polyester made of renewable raw materials (e.g. corn, potatoes, etc.).At a dosage rate up to 5% MAXITHEN® BIOL colour masterbatches comply with the composting regulations and the normative standard EN13432.MAXITHEN® BIOL colour masterbatches are characterised by transparency and high colour strength and can be well processed on existing machines.MAXITHEN® BIOL colour- and additive masterbatches are compatible with a lot of other biogenic as well as petrochemical (conventional) polymers and offer a wide range of applications.MAXITHEN® BIOL masterbatches can be used for the production of films, form parts, boxes, cups, bottles and other commodities. This new product range is mainly recommended for the colouring of short-dated packaging or thermoformed products (e.g. beverage- or yoghurt cups, trays for meat, fruits and vegetables); but also for the colouring and dressing of agricultural films (mulch and protective films) and auxiliary gardening articles (seedling trays, plant holders, single-use plant pots).COLOUR VISION® 2010/2011   COLOUR VISION® is a colour concept in keeping with the spirit of the times. Through the use of special plastic lens plates, innovative colours, effects and surfaces are prepared in selected polymers.Experienced trend scouts und colorists actively work on the colour trends of tomorrow and together they create a new COLOUR VISION® collection every year. The COLOUR VISION® range 2010/2011 is a source of inspiration for the world of plastics. 36 new colours, blue and a light green, orange-, red- and yellow-shades, from a silvery grey to black, visualise the colour trends from various branches of industry and the consideration of social influences in the market. The selected colours are refined with special effect pigments, which enhance their value. Brand manufacturers, designers and plastics converters rate this colour range very high for new product concepts.Hall B5, Stand 5204
